Broken Hope

The rock she sits on falls prey to her weight as
Her body breaks to fragments, Her weightless soul
Becomes victim to the numbness of her shallow
Heart’s desire to remain unloved.

Saturated with the wounds of her past love
The guilt of the gloomy past lingers deeply
In her mind.

The of fear being left alone again won’t let up
As she seeks escapism through numbness from
The wounds he created.

The scars in her mind run too deep to heal with time,
She longs for the moonshine to chase away the darkness
That stopped her heart.

The world of make believe

The tragedy and the torturous agony that was once
Alien to all has brought the world into
The hands of utter darkness.

The violence, hate, isolation and rebelion blind
Us from the truth the we all ought to embrace,

We are running away from or heart's fatal
Desire to live in a fortress of tolerance and peace,
Are we fugitives of the truth? What are we?

Black Rose™

She stands tall with her heart in its place and her
Will to make peace garnish the thorns of thoughts,
Her smile melts the unseen sadness of the darkness
As she lights the candles of hope.

The creation of misery stings not her sturdy heart as
She shields her fragile children with her black wings,
She flies away from disaster by singing at the door step
Of her intimacy.

Beauty acquaints her with pleasure as her seductive
Spirit glows ever so brightly in the dark,
Untouched waters swirl side to side by the command of
her black beauty.

Feeling, singing and breathing the love of life she realizes
That heaven is just feeling,
Twinkling stars follow her as a hallow grows and glows on
The tip of her immaculate mind.

The enigma of her warmth remains a known secret to they
That seek her glory and heart of healing,
Night sky turns blue as she commands day to kill the dying
And defeated thoughts of her family.

She puts off the flame that endows the weak with shame and rouge,
She paints the sky red and kisses the moon black as she sleeps to rule
Them another day yet to come.
