Misplaced Beauty

Under the shadow of her figurine rests that which
They call beauty, Her facial adornments deceives
Everyone in sight including the wearer of the mask,

In the dark she spends countless hours looking
In the mirror disgusted by the image it reflects,
Mind battles body in everyone’s absence …
He who calls her beautiful wins her mistaken love.

Look Into My Eyes

14-Apr 15:56

Darken your realm by seeing the truth,
That which I hide from everyone ,
That which will kill me.

Look into my bleeding eyes and
See the pain I’m in,
My bleeding soul has lost its
Blood and now its numb,
Numb to the all the hurting
Of this dimension.

Silent as a grave though I’m,
My soul screams for the clock to stop
And turn back its decisive hands to
Make everything sweet again.

Look into my gloomy eyes
See that my soul has been victimized,
And now it won’t rest in peace,
Deceived by everyone,
I feel betrayed,
I’m I living a lie?

As you look into my eyes don’t be deceived by
The misleading innocence they illuminate,
Dreams of the silhouette saint take over
As night falls.

Defeated

My mystic soul remains blunt
As it seeks rest among the dead,
The misery that divides my mind swiftly
Takes toll as it pulls me beneath the
Land of the living,

My divided emotions are brought to life
As my mind is gnawed by the teeth
Of doom.
