A leaf dries,
A life dies,
Unseen light fades,
A candle lite night is lite
No more.
A secret is revealed
Trust is lost
A toast to shame
And the spoken sacred words.
A face hides
Hope dies
Death brings sorrow
Time bores healing
Darkness blinds,
Away she goes to die alone.
